I'm just testing out new plants, really. Mordanting takes some time and mess but I will prepare a batch of fabric before the course starts - probably a big batch all at once, so that I get it out of the way and then can hopefully use it for dyeing and printing experiments over the summer.
I plan to make a daffodil petal dye batch (a good, strong yellow) and see if camellia flowers offer much colour squish potenial. A big batch of nettle would be good too.
That print on fabric is lovely @Fire and your course sounds like lots of messy fun. I've only ever done block printing on wood as part of a paint effects class I did over 20 years ago. Must dig out the blocks and try again - once I get all the patchwork homework and spring gardening done.
