I hate handbags too. I need my hands to ferret in my purse, or pick up stuff in the garden cen... sorry, supermarket. Bags supposed to stay on my shoulder always fall off. Yes, a rucksack for me every time - it's essential here because carrying bags up 50 steps to the house isn't my favourite activity. Also essential to have clothes with enough pockets for keys, mobile phone and money. Why do women's jackets & jeans have so few useful pockets? If there are any, they're usually too shallow to be useful.
Too hot for tidying...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I still don't seem to be having much luck putting photos on here. Yet everywhere else on the forum works fine.
But I thought you'd appreciate the giggle. I pottered around the garden writing a list of plants (the garden will soon be having a grand redesign so most things are in pots).
Having started off with two sea holly to celebrate a friends wedding (that came into bloom too early despite my best efforts so couldn't be used for the display she had in mind) to...
2 x eryngium bourgatti picos amethys
2 x eryngium x zabelii jos eijking
14 x eryngium gigantic
0 x place to put them
Anyone fancy helping me cut down the tree in the front garden to free up some space?

a rose amongst sloth
Yes I bought it this year when I went to buy a yellow rose.
It's called dark secret or deep secret. It has a good scent and dark leaves. I'm really pleased with it.
That's a beauty B3. Looks really healthy too.
Thanks chaps. Well-fed urchins playing in the rubble.
If you want something to remind you of aquamanda, buy tangerine essential oil in Holland &Barrett or similar and put four or five drops in your bath.
Bath salts gave you a gritty bum as well
