This is my pot standing area by the greenhouse, photographed on the first of the month. I will have to take pics again on Wednesday and my shame is that it now looks even worse I have pics stretching back over a number of months and they are all as bad.
The idea was that the pics would galvanise me into action, but it hasn't worked on these so far. Though I had just re-done the moist, shady border in front and that looks better now that the plants have started growing. And the plants help hide everything else............
I think we should start a rival to Chelsea called 'The Real Garden Show'. It would cheer up and inspire all those people who come away from Chelsea feeling depressed because their gardens can never match up
And it would take real artistry to arrange the piles of stuff to look genuine, with the patina of age and the right level of algal growth and getting the grime to look non-artistic and all the choices of what to include. There would have be some plants too, but they would have NOT to be perfect while the ground elder and dandelions would have to be at the peak of perfection

I would like to start by saying that these accusations of immaculateness and OCD are malicious, scurrilous and totally untrue
I have areas of the garden that are far from immaculate ( see below )
I hope the above piccys will gain me access to the Gallery of Shame, where I can hold my head high
Anyhoo, I finished off the side of the garage this morning, pots filled with Black-eyed Suzy, Marigold and trailing Lobelia.
Oh God...looking at those pots, the rumours of OCD might be true after all
Sheps...

I give up. Resized that to a measly 346kb and it still won't load. Just trying to prove my credentials to join in on this thread!
Shep, I am sure I speak for all of us when I say that we are relieved! Welcome to the G.O.S.
Finally - but it wouldn't let me add any text!

This was given to me to display old pots and saucers and mint
strawberry plants growing out of paving slabs
an attractive seating area
inside the garage. Note the bin of old flowerpots
Move over Angel of the North! Rusty sculpture at the end of a 'woodland' path. I know there's a path because I saw it once
