The return of The GOS... Fabulous 😁.
Some excellent examples of real gardening from newcomers to the thread 👍.

I love the way Flinster has distracted attention from the un-rendered wall by surrounding it with gorgeous plants. A masterclass in illusion worthy of Derren Brown.

Jellys outdoor hoovering is totally bonkers 😆
You can never sow too many seeds herbaceous 😉
Mess josusa? What you on about? That's one super tidy garage in my book, you've got labelled drawers and everything 😦.

Oh Racine. What can I say... It's simply breathtaking.
Gold stars for you 🌟🌟🌟 😊

Time to get snapping 📷  I'll see if I have anything new to add 😜.

H.H you can’t be throwing that lovely yellow wallflower in the compost, there’s loads of seeds to collect first😀

Although the window frames have the requisite dead flies, I have a horrible suspicion that one might be able to see through the windows.
What concerns me most, is the disturbing lack of dust and cobwebs.
Must try less, but welcome to apprentice level Jos.

Other posh threads are available where you can tweak and botox - we all do!
Who hasn't pulled off a yellowing leaf before posting on garden gallery?
This is the thread where you can embrace your warts and all!
Yuk! Revolting metaphor, but I can't be bothered to think of another :)

Yes I can see through the window recently, because I hacked viciously at the Hebe outside that covered it.  Dust and cobwebs in the garage?  Nonsense, what do you think the house is for?  Probably because most of the clobber in the garage either gets used, or gets shifted around for me to use whatever's behind and underneath it.  Perhaps next time I'll treat you to a look inside the fridge where I keep the bird food and screw top jars of nettle and comfrey tea.

Sorry muddle up, I save loads of seeds, I'm too tight to buy them.

@Flinster one puny hammer does not a shambles make!
Well done newbies. Some sterling lack of effort there!
  • This thread is inspired. I feel liberated! No longer do I have to post pictures where I carefully frame to avoid the pile of gardening detritus on the left, or the unkempt hedge on the right, I now proudly display it all without a care in the world in the knowledge that I am amongst non-judgmental types. I may even post pictures of the area at the back of my garden that I have taken to calling my “wildlife friendly patch” to visitors but which is really just an overgrown mess that I can’t summon the energy or will to tackle.

Dead wheelbarrows awaiting someone i.e me to take them to the dump

I blew out the moter of the lawn mower 2 years ago and one day it will get to go to the dump along with the wheelbarrows. The old bins aren’t as bad as they look as I am making leaf mould in them. The black one is compost but seems to have lost its lid and the builders sacks are great for if you have a lot of pruning to do.
the old pallets will someday be turned into something beautiful for the garden🤗

Plant pauper that is my slug killer! It's the block walls which have been waiting to be rendered for nearly 3 years now! :D
