imageOh Nut, what a lovely surprise! We just need Dove to join now.

I'm really flattered, PP has remembered my ex pond. Before and after pics here, think I only posted the after one before to show the state it's got into. I'm a bit scared of creepy crawly things in ponds and friend's lab put claws into the liner when she thought she'd go for a swim. The one with the water is before, I never know what order they will arrive in.

I'm nearly afraid to ask BL but what happened to the fish post puncture?

  • Busy-LizzieBusy-Lizzie Posts: 24,042

I'm not sure, one day they just disappeared, may have been a heron - happened to a neighbour.

I'm not sure which is worse, being eaten by a heron or draining out down the claw hole image

imageThe claw hole was small and in the side not at the bottom, so pond was half full. Fish were 8 years old when they went, maybe it was old age.

Thought you might like to see the passage from the front door to the dining room. Not really garden mess, except there are about 4 boxes of past it's sell by date grass seed. Luckily there is another door to the dining room via the kitchen. Not my fault, whoever designed this house didn't build enough cupboards. There is dust and cobwebs but they don't show in the photo.
