I like it! Hope youve got somewhere else to sit!
We've got a new thread going. Perhaps you could post on there.
They'll probably close this one on monday because of the size😊 @Ladybird4

@Ladybird4, when I was young, I was constantly prone to cacoethes.  Now I would like to know if there is an equally classical-sounding term for an irresistible urge to put my feet up and watch a Poirot I've seen 15 times before.

My fault @josusa47. I hadn't realised that the Sequel had been put into action so I've replied on the new thread - apologies.

The sunlight and kodachrome (according to Paul Simon - other musicians and film types are available) make these look better than they are. Plus I did some housekeeping before taking any photos as I didn't want my wife looking down on me and tutting when she said '...oh, Steve...'.
From the house to the grass (loose term for green stuff), the grass to the shed (that has to go - so if anyone wants a dilapidated orange shed...), the wilderness behind the shed (there be trolls) that leads to the stream (and that's the big, whopping, humongous tree), from the shed back up and from the grass back up. And then to brighten it up a couple of the only flowers to be in bloom - shame the roses were going orf (and I couldn't be bother to spray them with water to make them look sexy) - but the phlox (I think they're flox) are grand.

@steveTu. I don't think you've quite grasped the concept. Your garden is beautiful.

Yeah @steveTu I was relying on this thread to make me feel better about my failings.

Your pics have set me back a little.

I may now need a strong cuppa and a counselling session.

...no, no no. I've used the 'make my garden look reasonable filter' on the camera - then followed that with The Gimp and also to make sure I don't get visited by my wife's ghost, used a couple of ringers instead of the real thing anyway. It was lovely 7+ years ago. I even had to fire the gardener last week because they were useless - which was handy really as it coincided with the good weather and meant I could spend much more time loafing.

Give me two minutes, I'll remove the filter on the camera and take the shots again - warts'n'all. But if I don't sleep anymore because of my wife haunting me, I'll blame you...

    It’s ok @steveTu

Don’t go to any trouble or risk a haunting.

I’ll make it look horrible in my mind.
