I really do sympathise muddle up, this is what our entire house looked like when we moved in. It was the only way we could afford to live in this area was to buy something derelict.
Never again. it's nice now but still needs work doing on the outside.
Wish I could make a better contribution, but I've recently moved into this house and it wouldn't be right. Plus, my garden is so small that everything (almost) is in full sight. Except for that overdriven slug factory that remains well hidden.
Muddle-Up, you should use those old tiles to make garden features. Laid on edge into a bed of cement and levelled by tapping down with a plank they make very nice edges for garden paths. You can also drill holes in the corners and wire them together to make small planters.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
But work in progress shows great activity and is to be applauded. Not something that has just slid into neglect and you get so used to looking at it you don't notice the mess. OH has now tidied up my shed. I nearly had a panic attack while he was doing it, I couldn't watch!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
No, I can't get in it without taking out the (15 I think) rubble sacks full of garden rubbish, waiting to go to the tip. The council in its wisdom said the maximum size of shed we could have was 7ft x 5ft because we live in a conservation area... well, I'm doing my bit for rubbish conservation
Useful gap between the wall and the shed for more...er...useful stuff...
Can anyone find my path, please???
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
No Kitty, you will have to leave this patch to ferment and mature before it is worthy of the G.O.S. Perhaps you shouldn't have pulled the bluebells. This, I'm sure, took more effort than is permissible within the prescribed parameters. At the moment it is much too attractive! Are you sure you haven't another candidate?

Quick, stick a trellis up pitter patter. Then you can hide all your junk behind it.
That's what I did
Blimey muddle, your studio/potting shed's bigger than my house
No shame in buying a doerupper. If it's the same ten years down the line, that's another matter
This is realer than reality tv!

How clever of you Pitter Patter (page 5).

Love this thread
Thsee are my shameful areas
that would be the whole garden.... grass needs cutting, borders need weeding....
the 'plant nursery' aka where I put the plants before planting..... Some have been there for some time
My pots! Admittedly they will be filled with plants but are looking pretty shocking at the moment!
Impressive panda, I think the angle on your whirlygig deserves a place in the Tate modern. (Mine does that too but shhh don't tell anyone)
B3: How about this patch?
Full of Spanish bluebells (pulled), snails, aphids, a wonky forsythia tree/shrub thing and lots of random cobbles I don't know what to do with.
Just been out to the shed:
