It has potential B3, it has the potential to be something that is not completely depressing.  Everything about it at the moment is hope-sapping and self-harm inducing and I don't think that's just because it was a drizzly, grey day in Feb when I took the photo (or it might be?  S.A.D. and all that!).

Anyway, its future is as a herb-laden, possibly tiled courtyard with seating.  Its proximity to the kitchen means that herbs are the way to go, probably in pots or raised beds and the seating will include a table for al fresco activities (which in French means boozing).

MU - this will mean the dreaded W word but to be true to my slothful self, I will employ some Jock to do this bit.  I'll just do the sitting about and drinking bit at the end.

Er... I have just re-read and by Jock I meant the American version of healthy/athletic person.

Joking apart, Cloggie - it really does have 'potential'. Look at it again when the spring comes and you're not feeling SAD effects. I expect to see it featured in the posh posts - eventually.

Glad to see you meant the American one!

Mr Clog is from north of the border (the border with England).  I'm from south of the border with Scotland but north of the border with the south of England but I live south of the border with the north of England.

    Hope that's clear.

MU, it's festered since 1954.  We knocked a wall down and rolled up in the blocks, soaking wet was a copy of Farmer's Weekly which I dried and made a silly collage out of.  All about milking machines and the best feed.

Once the Jocks are done I'll be sure to post pics outside this esteemed thread.  Wouldn't want to sully it with posh stuff.

Cloggie....clear so far.  Are you east or west of south of the border with Northern England?

I haven't got a satnav. I'm losing the thread here. Are we #down Mexico way#?

Depends which way you're facing Joyce but assuming you're south of the border with the north and behind you is France, then I'd be on your right.

Cloggie, I'm SW over the border from the  South and you are in the east of England. Sorted image
