Just been reading the slug chat here and on the 'casualties of this year's slug explosion ' thread. Don't know if any of your have dogs, but when I'm out doing a poo run for ours, in the garden, I frequently find a slug or two having a snack. They go in the bag too. The rest get retribution dished out with the side of my trowel and as much mercy as they show my plants.
For some strange reason I have gone off the idea of nightly slug patrol for the last few nights, can't think why!
Updated shabby corner picture for you all!
Its been requested for the Tate modern, but then what would I put in its place?
My favorite bit is the natural planting of ground elder bind weed combo! This gently softens rough lines of rusty BBQ whilst using grill racks as climbing support!
Nice job. Wonky. I have that self same combo doing a number around my Berberis, philadelphus, juniper, buttercups, thistles, willow herb...... It's almost ready for the craft thread!
Gosh, Gush, you guys! I blush! I knew you would be the audience for my efforts! Working a nice thistle through that combo at the back also, hoping it will seed!

Go on, Hazel, I dare you...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I wondered how we'd get you on here Dove.
Interesting observation regarding the wheelbarrow MU. I'm sure it was a plant pot holder not so long ago
Wonks...you need to knock that on the head. Remember Effort = sanctions!
