    Hazel, it doesn't really have to be dirty. Neglected or bodged will do nicely.

    Ok, here is my front "garden" It looks a lot worse now as it's heavily weedy. All it needs is a couple of tyres and a shopping trolley.........

    We renovated the whole house and back garden and this has been left to the last. It used to have a shed as a front porch, a lime green breeze block wall and the whole thing was filled with earth right up to the front door.

    We've excavated tons of earth, had the gas and water pipes buried and cleared the site, all by hand. Luckily there were some steps under all that earth.

    A landscaping company is over at the end of July to brick pave one galf and the other half is going to be a railway sleeper raised bed for me to grow herbs and a few vegetables, not many.

    I hate it but the end is nigh, soon it will look great and the house will be finally finished after 12 years :-)
