Yes Hazel, she grew it alongside another plant that came up for an ID a few weeks ago "snow in summer", she called it "white rock" though. Just goes to show common names can be very different.
karen paul says:I can't believe my orchids have so many flowers on them this year after being so neglected last year they were very nearly dead! See original post
I'm kind of new growing my orchids, but yours looks just amazing. Any tips?
Thankyou for your comments everyone. O I'm hoping the roses that my sister gave me recently will flower h just as beautifully next year. She was going to throw them away because she was sick of getting stabbed when weeding around them so unfortunately I've had to move them whilst in bud and now they're looking very sad and sorry. I'm excited to see what colours they are
Lovely fuschias aym Especially the blue one, the blooms look huge.
Is the last pic Clary? I'm growing some from seed for the first time this year, the packet had a wildlife friendly logo on, good for the bees apparently.
Mine are still green though Something to look forward to if they're as nice as yours.
Great vids aym280. Are they stoats? I've only ever seen one of those before. Must have been heart racing to see a whole gang of them like that? Saw some fantastic peacocks a few years ago. I think it was at Hever castle. Some were albino. The males display is quite something.

My granny always called it Snow in Summer and I've never heard of white rock... till now!
Lychnis coronaria is the very one. Also known as Bridget-in-her-bravery. Now there's a name.
Victoria Sponge has posted some pics of her garden and there it is, bold as brass, in the middle of it.
I must say the pictures on here look more impressive than the ones on the RHS website.
Thanks all.
c Yes it is definitely the same, I googled it, I couldn't find Lindas thread. Beautiful plant and tough as old boots o in my r experience.
