I like the Smoke bush Lily Pilly. I often wondered what that bush was called as there are one or two local to us. I've also seen a neighbour has a very similar one that has long thorns on. I haven't a clue what that's called.

That pink flower is an absolute riot of colour Mark.

Wow to that Lotus flower aym. A definate favourite of mine.

Michael 119 -  your neighbour's bush may be one of the berberis family.  I have one, similar in colour to my smoke bush, leaves a similar size, and large spikes.

Aym...is the 2nd photo a honeysuckle? And is that at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield?

Thank you Joyce21. I just Googled Berberis bush and sure enough that is the one the neighbour has.

The Topiary...Joyce said comfy cushions...when I first saw them, green 'marshmallows' came to mind.

That's the first time I've seen the Crucible theatre, other than when the snooker is on t.v and then it's only from the inside. I imagined it to be an older building than that. That's an eye opener. Thanks aym.

As for the wild Orchid...I just love it. I want one! Such exotic markings.
