I love your videos, i'll watch them with my son tomorrow. Since we've started feeding birds, he keeps telling me we need to get a special tree so the woodpeckers can come in our garden...
I'm going to give a go at IDing... Orange coreopsis and a daisy- leucanthemum (hayloft have some with frilly centres called real glory and real galaxy)? Any good? Do i get any points? ?
B3, lovely flowers!
I laughed when reading about the artichokes... Yep, as a good frenchie, i've got several plants and i eat them. We had some last night as a warm salad with potatoes, bacon, spring onions and parsley. Hours of prep (especially as i have to cut them in tiny pieces so hubby and little ones eat them...). I have green globe and violetta di choggia producing and gros vert de laon grown from seeds this year. I'll get rid of green globe if the new one tastes better...
I had to take the photos quick in between all the down pours today yes the carnations have a wonderful scent and flower over a very long period, the White with red is a Houttuynia Cordata orange peel
plant is Phygelius funfare orange ,the carnations I got a couple of years ago think it was a daily mail offer jut pay the P&P with there reward club came as small cuttings, my regale lilies are nearly 5 ft tall with all the rain but looking at the buds its going to be end of August before I get flowers need some sun ,love them red begonias

I really like these Dahlias. The red and white is just simply amazing aym...and Runny...that red reminds me of deep red velvet. So rich.
A few from this morning after the rain again

Hi Michael199

This is a close-up of one of my delphiniums. Each flower is about 5cm across:
I'm going to try and propagate it as it's in a stand of purple ones!
A beauty Bob. Love the colour.
