If I get chance I'll have a look through my box and see if I can find the labelling for the bulbs.

  • Well done Kitty, links works fine!

Aym, I didn't know the insect... Sorry I failed you...??

Did your garden get a good watering? It was perfect here, not strong enough to make a flat mess. (That's because we gave the clouds good instructions!)

I am growing some bishop's children dahlias and they are opening up. So far rich velvety colours but the ipad can't cope... I'll try again...

  •   A few collages of photos I took this afternoon.  Things seem to be starting to bloom.  However, no snap dragons or sweet peas yet.

Popped into the garden this morning to check for any strawbs for breakfast, 8 hrs later I'm flipping knackered! Had a good old tidy, move about, some planting etc. I'm much happier to leave it now while I'm on holiday and hopefully find it in a decent state when I get back....

anyway snapped a few for you

The lady bird poppy nearly made me cry with happiness. I've tried everything to grow one of these the last two years with no luck. This year threw a couple of packs of wild flower seeds down and ones turned up. Who would ever have thought!!

The little blue tub was from Homebase last year, it's ok but hasn't got any drainage holes which is probably a good thing because it's so small and dries out fast.

Ive never had a terracotta pot, my nan always swore blind they dried out too fast. I think the terracotta ones look so beautiful though. Just washed pads of my pickings from today for tea. I'm going to have to eat about 4 dinners I think. Hmmmm very greedy me!

All looking very healthy b3. Love the yellow.

Aym, I haven't even had time to think about bread this week let alone make any haha. I noticed something growing earlier in my wild flower area and I have no clue what it is, only just remembered so will pop out and take a snap to post. Hopefully one of you cleverer than me peeps will diagnose it haha
