Bonjour tout le monde! Gosh, i go away for a few days and it takes hours to catch up... Looks like you've all been busy, gorgeous flowers as usual, and a peacock! I think i need a giant teapot in my garden... ?
leek flower
Knautia and eryngium planum
Geum totally tangerine, verbena bampton and borage
Aym, there are also white and pale blue ones. I wear gloves when cutting them back. If there were young children I would be cautious and plant them well out of reach. There are some that flower in the autumn so you get two seasons.
Yes I like the Cotinus, Runny. So neat and tidy growing and I love anything that is the colour of red wine!! Reminds me of the end of church service with the bread wafer and red wine.
Aym...The Black Elder? I Googled it and guess what? We got one and thought it was an Acer! How stupid do I feel! Lol. And boy does it grow fast. Love the blossoms on it. Followed that utube video of dividing the Iris' fingers crossed for that one.
Pansyface...what a morning greeting that riot of colour must be. Gorgeous blooms.
Thanks, aym. Invasiveness isn't really a problem with the heavy clay soil here, as it is only improved here and there depending on what I want to plant. The only ones that are invasive are that pink geranium and vinca from next door and the thistles from the other side

What a gorgeous Dahlia aym. Made me think of the flag of St George.
And another cracking Dahlia, Runny...a sorbet. Mmm. Sorry to hear about that poor dove chick Runny. Hope it was over quick for him.
The pink and blue look great together Julie.

A LOVELY, BRIGHT, CHEERFUL CHORUS PANSYFACE
Aym, I grow aconitums instead of delphiniums. Hassle free and s&s free.
