Gorgeous rose Jason, beautiful markings on the petals. I thought at first it was a rose called Mum which my daughter gave me for ......Mothering Sunday - I will try to get a picture of it when the rain stops.
Michael, you'll love growing lilies, just plant in spring, pick and squash red beetles if you find them and feed once in flower. That's as hard as it gets. I love them
Thanks Sophie 17. I really like those yellow Lilies. I will try them in troughs with copper tape around the trough as slugs and snails are a real nuisance here.
Lovely pictures Runnybeak, that Compassion rose is gorgeous, a pretty shade. Can you tell me what this last plant is please - I have some growing in my garden, in fact it just pops up each year - I don't do anything to it but it is a nice filler and looks good against your lavender.
Jason...a strawberries and cream rose; just right for Wimbledon.
Aym280...The camera is from my phone. Reduced resolution to 8mp so that the photos fit here. However, the photos were taken yesterday afternoon in N London in overcast conditions. I took pics of a penstemon too but the colour contrast was terrible and couldn't get a decent focus on blossoms on an Acer. So it looks like you all missed out there! Hahaha!
