It's hard to lose long standing  pals Bushman but, as one ages, it happens more often.

Beautiful day over in the west tooimage

8.2C in polytunnel last night. I'm loving my new freebie digital thermometer.

Cannas and hedychium I planted out yesterday seem perfectly happy this morning.

I have a newly retired colleague coming round at 10.30 and he's bringing his wife, who I've not met before.

Why did I invite them last night with only 12 hours notice? am I mad? ( don't answer that )

They'll just have to take things as they are.

VIP guests arrive next week. Much to do.

    Devon.

    Hello everyone!

Condolences, Bushman - always a shock to lose a contemporary.  As Hosta says, those memories will live on.  image

This is the first year I'll be watching more than a couple of Chelsea programmes.  I'm trying to catch them all, until I get there myself (on Wednesday - did I happen to mention it??  image image image) so hopefully I'll have an idea of the bits I really REALLY want to see before I get caught up in the crowds.  Being 4'11" tall has its disadvantages... though sometimes people feel sorry for me & let me through.  image

Time to cut the grass, I think.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
