    Morning all.

I've bitten the bullet and made an appointment to see the clinical hypnotherapist to see if he can sort my sleeping for me.

He had one session with Hubby and has stopped him drinking for 8 consecutive days ( first time in over 40 years) I spoke to him yesterday and he thinks he can help.

Morning all, lovely bright start to the day here.

As a fellow osteoporosis  sufferer I'm ' feeling ' for you Lesley and sending very gentle hugs your way x

So very sad about the shortage of beds crisis that is now all over the country, we desperately need to find a solution. We have friends whose offspring is in great need of help ( has been for a few years now) and can't seem to secure a placement of a worthwhile length of time to do any real good, seems to be a case of ' change meds and discharge as soon as poss. I know we can't blame the staff, they have to work with what they are provided with.........but it is truly heartbreaking to see desperately ill people ( physically / mentally) crying out for help and seeing the lengths they are prepared to go to to try and get admitted ( as in our friends case).....sadly outcomes are not always good ones.

Thoughts and good wishes to your friend Lesley

Ouch, Lesley, did the doc say how soon it will heal? I hope you can sleep.

That sounds hopeful Hosta, hope it works.

Hollie Hock has never been a troll. I thought Wonkie put it very well.

Grey and cool again. Last time OH's friends came we sat in the garden. Looks as though this time we'll eat inside with the woodburner lit. I haven't worn a summer dress yet this year.

Hosta, I have seen some marvellous results from hypnosis, for many different problems, so I am sure it will help.

Verdun, seeing as you have blocked me as well, I am not sure whether someone will pass it on to you. Any way, I just wanted to say, surely blocking 2 people in a week, is a rather drastic course of action. Perhaps if you stayed away from threads, which cause you to take this action, we could all carry on having fun.

I do not mean you any harm.

Just collected about 50 snails from an ivy covered dry stone wall, they have been neutralised.
