Morning all. Sunny, but 0° at 7am - again. I wanted to harden up plants for the plant sale at my Open Garden on Sunday, but I daren't leave them out at night.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Beaus mum, come along, we might need you to hold the brolly though!

Seeing how OH hasn't surfaced yet, though, I don't know if it will be a goer...

Not my wife, BM (tried that once, didn't like it) but 'significant other', to use the detestable modern phrase.  Will be leaving her home here in W Flanders Wed a.m. to ... well I won't burden you with the details of my travel plans.....

Good morning all. I was woken by the mallards demanding breakfast. They now have seed and fresh water in a tray, and I have coffee. No frost overnight, so I will now get on with sowing courgettes. We are off out for lunch, so  have a good day everyone.

    Morning all.

Have returned from our gastronomic tour to Oldstead, celebrating OH's birthday, and our 22nd. wedding anniversary.

2 wonderful meals in their Michelen starred restaurant, and on the way home, popped into Harlow Carr, where they happened to have a plant sale.

Hope all are well, and that you have a lovely BH.

What did you have to eat? Punkdoc.

The only time I have eaten in a michelin star restaurant I was a bit disappointed, considering the cost.  It didn't help in that although they had rooms, we could not stay for just one night, we had to have two, so we stayed at a different hotel a taxi ride away.

Anyone seen Fairy, or have the builders cut through her internet cables?
