Hi everyone. We've been out the back of the property cutting up old branches of wood for the fire/heater. Hubby is impatient to get it going for the first time this year, but I want to hang off for a bit longer, because the days are still ok and then the house gets too hot.image

I took a couple of photos while out there.

The first one is the tree that was shedding its bark a couple on months ago and has now mostly finished. The second photo is another variety of Eucalyptus which has a lovely yellow under-skin when the bark has peeled off. It's especially nice with the afternoon sun hitting it.

I'll catch up on everyone's news later. I'm getting used to the new format. I just need to leave the last post open and then tell it which page I want to see.  Getting there.

I'm still hanging on in, just.

The number of postings has plummeted I notice.

I wonder if " the powers that be" have noticed too.

    Enjoy your weekend folks.

    Joyce, you are kind.

The knee is much improved thanks. I've given up the paracetamol and I'm thinking of ditching the ibuprofen after today .

The rock WILL be moved but I've been busy moving stuff before it gets too big  / too late in season to move.

Friends coming this evening for dinner. Laksa curry, new fave.

    untick email !!
