Back to the office again for me (the chicklets are on Easter hols, so MrC will have company at home). Will do me good to have a dose of normality .
Just done the old "put plant babies out for the day, bring them in at night" routine. Think I will prick out some of my seedlings this weekend, so that routine is about to get a whole lot bigger. Good job I am constrained by the size of my windowsills - I get a bit carried away at seed sowing time.
Saw Lesley posting yesterday .....are you back home yet? Hope your Dad is doing ok.
I've got some seedlings that need pricking out soon - but not sure where I'll put them other than the mini-greenhouse outside - and I've got Wonky and her Lovely Hub coming on Sunday for roast rib of beef and gooseberry crumble - more birthday celebration
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Long day at work today as we've a training day with volunteers in the evening that doesn't start til 19.00. I wonder if they'd be upset if I brought a blanket with me.
Our dawn chorus is a blackbird and Robin fighting in the garden. Every morning they both have a stand off on the lawn and make such a noise you can't hear the little jobbies in the hedges.
