Just paid for the rest of our next Cornish trip ... that was bad enough Mind you we have found a marvellous little B&B for a stop-over on the way down - dead cheap, eh Hosta?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I've never tried salvia cuttings but I can't see a little bottom heat ( stop tittering at the back ) can do any harm . I think Verdun might be your man, although he's more shopping than cuttings I think.
Morning everyone afternoon Pat and happy birthday to your grandson I hope enjoys driving its changed my life for sure!
Chicky, sorry you have had such a worrying time lately, big hugs to you and all in your chick coop! X
Clari, sounds like you feel rotten! Hope you feel better but at least you are having some time from work! Best wishes!
Yvie, I've got snapdragons sowen too but mine are lidl cheep mix thought small investment sensible as I'm still learning
Well I'm wondering do I qualify to be 27 now? And can I retire?
Happy travels to BusyL and DD,
I've had a wonderful weekend! Meal out with Mrs and papa womble and hubby Saturday during which a secretive Dove flew into my shed and deposited a sat Navy and the most wonderful birthday cake I've ever tasted! Light sponge sandwich with fresh raspberries and lemon curd cream in between and smothering the outside!!!!! Devine! Thanks Dove x
Think hubby may be awake now so catch you all in a bit x
Forgot to say welcome to Solent wind I envy you waking for the first time in your new home and garden with no traffic noise! It must be bliss! Best of luck with putting your stamp on your garden, we will enjoy seeing the fruits of your efforts

Hubby off to look at work in Westrward Ho! ( the only place name in Britain containing an exclamation mark , if anyone didn't know that already )
Sat Nat at the ready, he's never been there.
Happy Birthday to Wonky, hope she has a lovely day and to Pat's grandson.
Penstemon cuttings and the ongoing battle over holiday from hell. . Calls to ATOL and to the credit card company to-day.
Morning Hosta
Hope both the cuttings and the phone calls prove successful.
Did you see my query about Salvia gregii cuttings on the previous page? Will a little bottom heat help?

Morning all. We're off to Norfolk at midday.
Pat - not usually as early as today. I like a bit of quiet time before I need to get hubby organised. It seems a few of us are early birds.
Joyce - I retired just over two years ago but my body-clock won't readjust - I reckon it's my inherited genes from generations of farmers
