Doesn't look like a nice day here, Chicky, although the torrent has eased a little.  OH wants hoovering done and a panel fixed om the bath so looks like a domestic morning.

Still got my fluffy dressing gown on and contemplating breakfast.  Can't get the milk here, y'know.

not very fluffy at all really - well, maybe slightly fluffy.  Pale yellow.  Off-white.  Magnolia.  Take your pick.  It's borrowed from OH to save me bringing mine with me.

  • Morning all. A little frost this morning (took some of my tinies in last night, some of the others will have had to fend for themselves... just took a peek out of the window, hope all will be ok. Sunny and cold now, but looks like this afternoon is going to be pretty rainy though. At least I won't have to water the new turf image

Frost again here. Blue skies now. I've put the sweet peas out again. I was hoping to get them in this weekend, but I suspect not until weather improves.

All those people buying tender bedding plants at Morrison's last week will be wishing they hadn't.  Mum had people asking for bedding plants last week. She told them to come back in four weeks.  But they're selling them in Morrison's.....

    Have a good day folks.

That's how the money is made on sales of bedding plants. . .having to buy twice.

Good good morning all, hi Patimage

We have a good covering of snow here this morning but the sun is shining and it will soon disappear.  On checking the plastic greenhouse all except the cosmos looks OK.  Hope I've time to sow againimage.

Morning all.   Cold and grey and damp here but not torrential.  After yesterday's efforts I now have dozens of assorted hemerocallis and iris and hardy geraniums and pulmonaria and aquilegia and strawberries potted up for the charity sale next week.   They won't all fit in the car but it's a nice problem to have.   All tucked up in the garage by night so they stay warm and doors open by day so they get light.

Now to get the rest of the veggie and nursery beds cleared for crops.

I am not so much concerned about living longer but living well so am interested in stuff that keeps my brain, organs, joints and muscles functioning well.  Seems to me that's about good diet and lifestyle - family, friends, gardening and dancing.   Wouldn't knowingly take drugs to prolong life while I'm otherwise healthy.
