Fairygirl, have you heard the snow warnings? Hope snow wont affect your week end walk. At least the grass will eventually recover....it's the plants that are the problem especially with all the new growth.
Topbird had asked me to let her know if any progs with Scottish scenery were on. Glad you caught it. I don't think this series is quite as good as the first one but you still get plenty of scenery. Did you go 'doon the watter' now and again?

We flew back to France this afternoon. Thanks KEF. Flight was OK but the plane came in very fast and landed with a huge thud! Was sad to leave England.
House sitter has looked after my baby plants well, they and the garden ones are growing like mad. Leaves coming out on the trees, daffodils over, lilac showing colour. But the weeds are growing fast too, everything needs weeding

Greenock/ Gourock/ Largs to "Rossy" , Dunoon and Millport many a time. Including trips on the legendary PS Waverley.
That's the only bit of mainland Scotland I've any real acquaintance with Hosta.
