Oooh English asparagus; if I hadn't been given a big chore list by his lordship to do today I'd be in the truck driving over to get some. It's one of those vegetables I'll eat until I explode. It's on my definately list for the vegetable garden but that is still a long way off
Wonky; can I have a few days to recover from this weekend before we fast forward to the next? If it weren't for my jobs list I think I could happily spend all day wandering around in my pants eating junk food.
Lovely hubby is up and getting ready for work, not completely better but getting there, thanks looking forward to roast and crumble!
It was too dull by the time I'd finished in the garden to take pics but you can read all I ghot done on the done any gardening thread I will take some pics ass soon as its bright enough
Bright and sunny here but very windy still. Have to do a coat of paint around a bedroom wind embrasure so it can dry and I can get the curtains back up and then doa raid on the builders' supplier with OH so we can get the doings for the replacement trellis fence between the veggies and the ornamentals and a replacement support for clematis Etoile Violette which is now too vigorous for the arch we had there.
I am not trying the legs crossed thing as I have 3 slipped lumbar discs and a cage to make 2 more behave in my neck. OH and I have 3 hours of dance class a week plus a practice session on Sundays and occasional sorties to dance evenings on Saturdays but I do know I need to start some serious exercises to get my leg muscles back after spending a year off dancing while I had surgeries to rebuild my feet and I'll be upping the lentil factor in our diet. Good excuse to make dahl and other curries so Possum will eat them too.
Hope that fire doesn't get out of hand Pat E.
Happy gardening everyone - if you can today. If not, have a great day anyway.

Thanks Pauline. We never get sick of looking out the various windows.
Obelixx thanks for your concern. We're a long way from the coast, so fingers crossed. I could do without the smell of burning eucalyptus though. It's already much thicker out but not enough light to photograph. (Nearly 6 pm).

Hope you're going to post some pics of your garden purchases when you get a moment
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Just looked out the front and the valley is filling with smoke. Hubby thinks it's coming from Bega or somewhere down the coast. It stinks!

Morning all!
Glad Hubby is improving, WW, and hope he survives his day at work. Looking forward to seeing your pics!
Lesley, OH & I went to bed assuming Spieth would win no problem. Nice surprise this morning
Dull, dry & windy this morning, but no time to garden this morning anyway - perhaps it'll have picked up by this afternoon...
Best wishes to Hosta.
Have a happy day everyone!
