It's good that Gardeners can touch the ground isn't it? Straightening up without clutching the small of your back and groaning is even betterimage

Can do the crosslegged thing - years of pilates paying off - but can only touch the ground with my knuckles ....bit like a gorillaimage

Watching the golf .....want the bloke called Smylie Something to win, just because it is the best name ever.

You'll be up earlier than me Hosta, so wishing you all the best now.  Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Saw Angela Rippon try and do that getting up thing. She couldn't do it, neither could Amanda Holden.

I've tried, but I can't do it either lol. Can touch the floor tho. Can sit in the lotus position too Lyn image

Have been thinking of you and your Dad, big hugs and best wishes Lyn xx

Sorry to hear you're still in Pain Panda. Hope you haven't got an infection. Hugs for you too xx

Morning everyone. I've had a lovely sunny day in the garden today. It was only 6 degrees earlier, but it's mid 20 s through the day. Have planted leek seeds in punnets, even tidied up the greenhouse in preparation for the Autumn/ winter plant protection time. Chopped off some sunflowers which the parrots had stripped of flower/seed heads, planted potatoes in pots (as a trial), and generally  tidied up. Makes me feel  quite proud of myself for a change.

Id better go out and get the washing off the line now though. Catch you all as you come on line.image
