PP image but glad you're having sensible weather at last image

It is now overcast, very muggy, no wind, somewhat eerie and malign, if I was watching a horror movie I would be hiding behind something! Or possibly I am so far gone I'm just hallucinating image

I did that yesterday and it's looking a bit tidier.

I've turned my attention to "this end" rather than tree felling and bramble attacking. You know the old manky stuff like paths and guttering. image It's offy warm for sweeping though. image

The only thing keeping me at it is the thoughts and plans for my Winter containers. I'm not around much in Winter so I need to think of something bomb proof. image How do you think plastic would work image image image

Hate plastic "things" full stop, where are in in winter PP, hibernating somewhere?  Mabe put the baskets away, if you are not around to see them.  I swear every year I am NOT going pansies, polyanthus, in them there baskets!  29d here, shame cant go on the beach, probably too hot anyway, very "fair" grandchildren and grandson has "special" mole he has to keep covered, and white blond hair.  Shame, finnished wine last night, - it was Lou12,s fault I needed to steady my nerves after the spending spree!!!!!

Awoke in the middle of the night, or so I thought, it was 07:45 and black as pitch, crawled out and into shower, I could have stepped naked into the garden and had a free power shower. Never once let up here in Stockton, if we were not firmly fixed to Durham County we would probably be floating in the North Sea. My lawn man rang, due today, is it raining Frank? I do not know cannot see for the stair rods, he took the hint. Family all off to Centre Parks for the weekend, I wished them the best of luck.

    Frank.

  • It was dull, but mild and calm, now it is brilliant sunshine - just what we need for our Battle of Flowers today.

Pleased you got your sun GD2 image not so much here.

The eerie, quiet, overcast morning let rip another deluge of warm water, then the sun came out and I felt brave enough to sort the birdies food. Now we are back to eerily quiet and overcast but it does feel a bit cooler thank goodness.

Pleased I fixed the auto vent thingy first thing image
