The weather has been OK  in Cheshire but every so often it looks as if we are about to have a storm . It is still very warm.  A few more weeds removed and now about 70 slugs disposed of. I know where they are hiding now.

  • Well you have all made me feel guilty for not being more industrious with my time  - still the rain held off for the majority of the day although some sunshine would have been welcome - and the garden will wait  another day.

Pleased you got to hear the music without too much weather GD2, guess it wasn't 'Singing in the rain' type of thing image industry is for other people btw.

Today I am so happy, and now quite tired, need a cuppa. Blue sky, sunshine and comfortable temperature. Been down to the greenhouse to sort cucumbers and tomatoes and lived to tell the tale, Hooray.

Its mostly picking, pickling, freezing and clearing up now - feel like I missed something somewhere.

Wonderful weather not too hot to be able to work in the garden.

Can't believe that a Bank Holiday in Wales is sunny, warm and dry!! Who needs a day trip with crowds and traffic when you can stay in the garden and enjoy the quiet whilst the neighbours are out! Bliss.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Warm and sunny with a refreshing breeze here too - nice, comfortable weather - so why have I been planting bulbs (moved from one area to another) instead of sitting back and enjoying the sunshine. Music was great herbaceous - noisy with a good beat, they are all OAP's who know how to rock.

Love rock GD2! Partial to a bit of Heavy Metal too,

So happy yesterday with loads of stuff done so I awarded myself a day out - big mistake! Its in the 80s out there (sorry high 20s for C fans) Done in now, had a cold shower, iced water and the beginnings of a heat rash. I know what I'm doing for the rest of the day.

  • August has been a good month - great for the school holidays and I have no complaints. It has been another hot day here, a day of relaxing. You will cool down soon enough herbaceous once autumn comes - but that heat rash sounded nasty.
