Fairygirl I know just what you mean. I always feel very small and it puts life into perspective. I don't get up too many big "hills" lately. Maybe when OH retires.......
Fairy I think just the peace and quiet would be enough to make me well up let alone the beauty and wonder of the places you reach! It certainly comes across in your pictures, coupled with your descriptions, we are there with you! Thank you for doing the leg work and sharing!
Just the buzzards and grouse and the burns rushing over rocks Wonks. That's the only noise. When I sat by the loch I just thought, well if I die now - it's not too bad for a last view!
Happy to provide the leg work - for as long as the legs work!
There's nothing quite like it Marygold. Don't leave it too late to get back out there and enjoy some good times
Glad you had a good time Yvie. You'll need your bed after that!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hi Hosta, I assume you've nodded off by now. We've been into town for some shopping. I had to laugh last night, Hubby decided to cook a roast for dinner, and when he checked the potato and onion bin, found there was only one of each left. So, I dragged him and a garden fork up to my garden where i had put potatoes in some months ago, and Lo and behold, we had a good feed of new potatoes. Unfortunately, I've already harvested and eaten all my onions, so we had an unplanned trip to town today. We did get tempted in Aldi to buy chocolate chip Easter buns. Rather good, I must admit. I might just have to put the rest of the packet into the freezer to remove them form temptation.

Evening gang
Have been holed up in bed with a migraine today
Got up and then went out to a beetle drive
Had loads of fun
evening all.
Looks like another sleepless night for me. Still wide awake after an hour and a half in bed. Strawberry and Mango infusion time now.
I think the trouble is , I've had trouble getting to sleep for so many years, I've just got used to the time making mental lists of things to do.
