Hi Lyn Wonky's tablet isn't an iPad (it's something else, not sure what) - it would be much simpler if it was as her husband is an IT tech working on Apple products I'm sure he'll fix it soon - I don't think she's asked him yet - he's very busy at work and as he has a health condition she likes him to rest when he comes home - she thought she'd done it herself but it seems it was only a temporary fix.
Chicken stock made and veggies all prepped to make the soup so it's ready when I come home from my visit.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
RB so glad your daughter is OK and that her experience doesn't make her nervous on the road.
Hazel, thanks for asking about hubby, he is fine, they say his eye is a good as it's going to get, not perfect but considering the alternative it's a great outcome. He does have damage to the other eye but at the moment it's not getting any worse so they are going to keep an eye on it. Pardon the pun.
Beautiful sunny day here but don't think I'll be able to do any gardening, due to the after effects of deep cleaning the kitchen yesterday. Have had a walk round though and checked the greenhouse and cold frame.
Achillea seeds germinated after 3 days and one little Didiscus has also raised its head.
i hope your daughter is feeling better, Runnybeak.
Hubby got past the smash on the M6 and just made the ferry. The Captain has said the crossing will not be too rough. I suspect his version of not rough, and Hubbys version may be different.
Hope everyone's travel arrangements go smoothly today
I'm back from my visit ....... I had to pass an area where there are major roadworks going on and a huge Park & Ride car park is being constructed - on a very low area of land near a Broad - most of it is under a substantial amount of water

Afternoon peeps - busy morning in the office - now trying to catch up on jobs (again..)
Sorry to hear about your daughter RB but glad she's safe and well - events like those make you remember life is not a rehearsal don't they?
Must get on with something productive now - or perhaps after another cuppa
Evening all.
Lovely day here, but freezing cold.
Went for a walk on the moors by the house, still lots of snow.
Hope your daughter gets over the shock Rb.
