    Happy Easter all.

No chocolate as yet, but still hopeful.

We have sun, but cold, need to get out, but neighbour seems to have started a fire, and it appears he is burning plastic, judging by the smell.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

    Thanks Flumpy image

I rotated it before I posted it, but somehow it turned itself back on it's side image

It's lovely out there -  the sun is shining, the birds are singing and there are ladybirds 'bonding' literally everywhere I look - even on the lawn - I'm having to be careful where I walk image

I'm giving a beds a good hoeing - then I'm going to give the clematis, honeysuckles roses and other flowering shrubs a good dose of clematis fertiliser before the rains come - if I've got enough FB&B left from last year I'll scatter that around too, but I've a feeling there's only a little left - I'll go up to the GC tomorrow and get some more, but this sunshine is too good to waste.

Just popped in for a mug of soup ... got to keep my strength up ......... image

Wow, my rhubarb is about 2" tall!

Kitchen is bombstruck. Have made smoked salmon and cream cheese roulade and leek and soft goatcheese roulade, a  large chocolate cake and a small Victoria sandwich (which will have strawberries and cream on it and jam in it) for tomorrow.

So gloomy and grey today I have left heating on in the GH. What a change from yesterday when the GH was 30° with no heating.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
