OMG I was just sat on my couch eating breakfast when I saw something move in the corner of my eye!, OMG its a MASSIVE spider I mean MASSIVE I can't relax now, it's disapeared somewhere , I was gonna get the Hoover on it, I've ran upstairs now, my hubby is at work too, what do I do
Thanks FG, I know it can't hurt me but I just can't stand the sight of them, when I was little I woke one morning to find a spider curled up in the fold of my ear and now I'm terrified of them
Only just surfaced after my long day yesterday - but still smiling at seeing my baby waiting for the mist to clear here, then gonna get out there and continue with operation tidy-up (sure you're probably all bored to tears with it now, but weekend only gardening takes a long time to accomplish even the basics).
Love the ignore button - wish there was one so simple and effective for real life
So pleased to here your sleeping patterns might be returning to normal Hosta . Fingers crossed
That's tough, Flumpy... can you spend the day in the garden? Not guaranteed spider-free but they're easier to get away from out there. But if you need to be indoors, I believe spiders dislike lavender oil, so perhaps you could put a circle of it around your favourite chair and feel safe that way until your hubby returns.
Great news about the sleep patterns, Hosta! Sounds as if you've finally cracked it. Re Reynaud's syndrome: my current hate is high-speed hand dryers which blow cold air at high speed over my wet hands. I now carry kitchen roll around with me...
Wonky, I'm glad Flatters isn't seriously hurt. We do worry, don't we? I hope he's grateful for all the TLC he gets from you!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I used to be frightened of moths - due to childhood stuff. I've become much better just by gradually exposing myself to them in a sensible way. Not like that....
I looked at pictures and nutcutlet has helped me because she does her moth watching etc. Perhaps you try something like that. Those kind of solutions are usually very good.
chicky - a real life button would be great! I'd have a very long list
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Have a stiff drink and throw the sheet of paper at it
Don't drop to sleep or it might crawl in your ear

Sorry Flumpy I didn't realise you were so afraid.
Don't worry Kef you weren't to know, I'll just have to get my brave pants on and suck it up the Hoover

Be brave Flumpy - be brave
