Thank you all for your very kind support. It really does help, I know it s been said before but it's true and much appreciated.
things are still unclear. a million tests done which caused a lot of concern but surgery has been ruled out. He has an enlarged heart and they dont t know why. a few other complications but he is not in ICU. Tension has eased a little but d now getting cross which I think is exhaustion and frustration.
have been out with the dogs and enjoyed the fresh air. hundreds of greylag geese and about 5 swans fighting each other, don't know why they called mute, what a racket! heron back again
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
Afternoon everyone, Had a long lie in this morning due to not dropping off to sleep until about 3 a.m. Made up for it by sowing my first seeds of the year. Didiscus Blue Lace, Snapdragon Twinny Rose, Heliotrope Dwarf Marine and Achillea Ptarmica The Pearl. They are now cosy in the heated propagator on the conservatory window ledge. Also potted on a couple of non stop begonias and nemesias. Really feels like spring has arrived now.
LilyP, hope your SIL gets the best treatment in Moscow, I'm sure he will.
Pat hope your friend is OK.
I'm with you Lily, no idea how Bryan Adams came into the equation, perhaps David will let us know.
I'm hanging fire for a couple of weeks with my seeds, due to the weather and I have friends coming for a meal next weekend and propagators live in the dining room
LP - very stressful for you all. Can only hope any tests they do will bring up and answer and, more importantly, a solution.
KEF - the snow we were meant to get early yesterday morning didn't really materialise. Think the Pennines/north of England and the Borders were to get the worst of it. Hopefully it won't lie too long.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
LilyP, my OH has an enlarged heart... I just think that's more to love me On a serious note, I hope SIL gets sorted/suitable medication. Mine takes all sorts But it keeps him going Thinking of you and your daughter and her family.
