Last night I found out that all my copper bottomed pans wont work on an induction hob. New pans required. More mission creep. Thats apart from the fact shiny new kitchen makes the rest of the house look tired and needs refreshing. Now I remember why I have been spending the money on holidays instead of on the house.

I have an induction hob too, FB. Tip - don't buy cheap pans which say they work on induction, they kinda do but not very efficient.

  • Thanks for comments on Shadow, Lizzie is right he had to be re-homed because of chasing neighbouring farmer's sheep. He is very happy in his new home and I do see him occasionally, Charlie my 8 year old sees him a lot more as he plays with the new owners children a lot and they all have a great time with Shadow.

I do miss those morning and afternoon walks though and typically because I haven't 'got' to go I don't go, always find something else to do instead. With improving weather though I am going to make a bit of an effort to get out more.

Fed up with h*******k already. image Might make a cake instead. image

Bit of housework done so I don't need to feel guilty about being outside after I have a cuppa. image

Fidget - I had the same with a new induction hob - was assured all my steel pans with copper or solid bottoms would work. £200 later....image

Think manufacturers are catching on though, and making them suitable. I got mine in M&S and they're certainly very good - although I now only have 'custody' of one. I had to buy more pans yet again a few years ago. image

Cake for me too please image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Farmers market and craft fair for me this morning Panda. I only bought cheeses - what about you?

Not done much in the garden - can't seem to get going AKA no nice jobs to do...just tidying image. Have chopped back a phygelus though, didnt check time of year so fingers crossed, but did read someone else had done theirs in one of the threads.

Spent time looking at a place for a pond but think I'll talk myself out of it.

    Afternoon all.

    Lovely day here.

Nice walk round the botanical gardens this morning, and a little pottering afterwards.

Football about to start, steak and red wine for tea, what more could a man want?

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
