Lesley - we'd both had some aged cheddar - I've not noticed it affecting me before - but unusually I'd not eaten strong cheese for a while ................. maybe .........???
I once dreamt that I'd deliberately sawed my arm off - it was so vivid that I had to keep touching my arm the next day to make sure it was still there
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
had you been snuffling on the wild mushrooms Dove?
Not the right time of year for those Hosta ... I used to live near to a small piece of common land which, for a few days every year, was invaded by 'mushroom pickers' - it definitely wasn't in early March

Terrible thing to admit, but when I was a student, my Mum was visiting me and I thought I would impress her, by cooking a meal. Some mushrooms ended up somehow getting into that meal.
I thought it was very funny, Mum did not know what was going on. Still does not know to this day.
Stupid, juvenile..... Yes,....... but funny, I thought so.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Morning all. Was -5° but it's sunny and the sky is blue. Ground is like a bog though. Must get some more pruning done while I've the chance.
Talking of weight, well done Hosta, I found an old exercise book yesterday from about 10 years ago. I was on a diet and had written down my weight as it went down. Starting weight was over a stone lighter than I am now
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I remember a similar story regarding some Dutch style cookies being used to pacify a cantankerous granny over a christmas visit.
Everyone had a lovely time.
