Hosta, is all that weight loss due to giving up alcohol or are you dieting as well?
I have to say the Pina Coladas did for me on holiday. Normally, if I'm diving most days, I lose weight or stay the same. I have to say, when I asked for a diet coke at lunch, I was the exception not to be drinking alcohol.. Filling a glass several times during a meal was usual as well. Some people were even on the "champagne" style fizz for breakfast.
I dont suppose a load of takeaway or microwave ready meals will be good for me this week.
Well done Hosta, on the weight loss that is. The doc told me not to ever put weight on, when I went up to 10.4 I could really feel the strain on my back, luckily reduced my weight to 8.4 and felt much better for it.
Dont lose too much, you won't be cuddly any more
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
thanks all. Fidget, I'm rather ashamed to admit it's just the lack of alcohol.
I suppose I might be a bit more active now there's more daylight, but mainly just cutting out the booze ( which means no snacking in the late evening too. )
One more pound and that's 21, a stone and a half, nice feeling.
I read somewhere that a certain amount of 'padding' in the pertinent areas helps guard against broken hips etc as we get older ....... I remember that and quote it often
