I've just been reading back and all this talk about chocolate has got me yearning for some, so I made us a cup of tea and put chocolate chip hot cross buns out for us. I must admit they were really good. I'm not craving the ch stuff now.
Daughter and grandson helped with Hubby's biscuits and cake, so that pressure is off for a while. Lovely sunny day today and cool nights - perfect for a good nights sleep. The Pinoaks are turning colour and the Golden Ash is brilliant, especially against the Claret Ash which I deliberatelyplanted next in line to get that effect. Life's good.
Cooma is celebrating back to Cooma weekend for all those oldies who worked on the Snowy Scheme all those years ago. I don't imagine there many of the original workers still alive, but their kids would be and they would remember the hardships they had to live through at that time.
Early start as guests are off to a show jumping competition.
Have to spend some time this morning (hopefully not too much) making 'placemats' that look like vinyl records for a school fundraising event next week. The theme is 80's pop so we are theming all the table decorations, only 100 more to go.
Hope you are all doing something a bit more exciting.

Good morning DD and everyone as you arrive G'day Pat Tell us more about the Snowy Mountain Scheme ...
OH has set off on his bike for work - he's only got the Saturday lad with him today, usually there are three of them on a Saturday but the boss seems to think they won't be busy ....... but the sun is still shining here in the east, the garden centre is open today and not tomorrow .... I think they'll be busy.
I'm going up to the gc later this morning - I need some lawn treatment for the front lawn, seaweed fertiliser for the back lawn, clematis fertiliser for the climbers, JI 3 to repot the fig and the Campsis radicans, and some string ............. can I get anything for anyone?
Coffee anyone?

Morning by the way and afties Pat. Glad you're feeling good
Ferdiddling down here - at least the cold, whining wind has died down though. I shall get a cuppa and see what's what on here

Katie I believe Verd. Batten your hatches. Have you got any hatches to batten?
I see there's some nice wooden furniture on sale though - we could make a bonfire
