Lesley, just a simple roast dinner. Slow roast pork wrapped up in foil with red onions and fresh sage, roast potatoes, broccoli, peas and carrots. Gravy made with the pork juices. 2 friends are bringing puds, I hope one of them does her cheesecake, it's scrummy .
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Back in coz I ran out of light. Got lots more tidied, plus a particularly weed infested patch got all its plants taken out, deep cleaned, and plants divided and put back - hopefully weed free. Potted up some bits too for spares - never too sure if things are going to survive when I "mess" with them.
Looking forward to GW tonight too - missed it yesterday. Then we have the "lady in the van" dvd to watch .....love Dame Maggie
I've just remembered - if you're looking in Topbird - I said I'd remind you if there are any programmes with good scenery etc. Griff Rhys Jones' programme 'Mountain' is on BBC 2 currently. I recorded it on Friday afternoon but missed the previous episodes so downloaded them. The first and third episodes are Scottish ones, and the others are Lake District , Pennines and Snowdonia
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lizzie - simple. Well it might be for four. Hope you have time to enjoy it.
Chicky you really need to put your feet up tonight. OH gave me 'The Lady in the Van' dvd today so I'm taking it down to watch with mother . The clips of it that I've seen look great.
Wish I'd got more done in the garden today, you lot put to shame.

I don't think they would suit me, not saying they would suit Flumpy either
Off now to have a pre- curry lager, so I'll see you all tomorrow, enjoy your evening
