Good morning chicky. The birds have been singing for a while now. Hope Katie abates.

  • Good morning early birds. image

One set of guests gone, just waiting for the next lot. Then after I am taking Charlie to an Easter Egg Hunt at the local chateau, we went last year and he loved it.image

I hope you have all escaped the worst of the storm unscathed. image

The placemats were made from some advertising board from the local supermarket (a past campaign) waterproof and sort of plastic material. I am quite pleased with the result. image

    Happy Easter Monday people. image

Good morning DD and anyone else who's about image  G'day Pat if you're around image

Pretty blustery and jolly wet here but thoughts with those of you more affected by Storm Katie - hope everyone's got their hatches battened down and their hard hats on and not too much damage done.  ((hugs))

Quick look in for me before I go to work. Hope everyone is ok down there and not too much damage down to property and gardens.

Have a lovely day DD  image

Hope chicky and Joyce got some sleep....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Morning all not to much damage I hope from last night.

Was a bit stormy here last night heavy rain at times recorded 64mph gust, showers at the moment and a good strong sea breeze gusts at 41mph.

Been around the garden all looks ok just one tree down in woods, walk on the beach later see what's washed up overnight and collect some seaweed.

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

Strong winds, rain, hail... we really are getting treated to the bank holiday weather!

The school next door has had its alarm going off since 06:15 and it is at just the right frequncy to pierce through my head. Caretaker is on holiday and the police are unable to assist. ( I have been out with a loud German Shepherd and some big boots to check no one is inside).

I put my post for here on the weather thread so here is some of it again. It's short.

Morning all, rained in the night. I slept badly, so did dog as OH forgot to turn his light out.

I will be potting in the GH this morning

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

That's what you think - the rest of us will be popping by for coffee later on - bright skies and a light breeze are just what we need ..... image
