  • Good morning all, image

Lovely sunny day here even though it's cold. Might manage to get out in the garden today. Had a look around the other day and decided there were lots of little areas that just needed a few hours work on them to be sorted - I'm not going to do the maths, just need to get head down and get on with it. image

Happy Birthday to your OH Hosta, I hope you are going to give him more than a cup of tea for his birthday. image

Mornig all/afties Pat - love your skink pix on the other thread image

Happy birthday Hosta hubby image...  did you get a nice sleep last night?

Oooh - a croissant or three would be lovely Dove  image

My blackies have wrecked all the logs round by the shed with their digging Dove - they love rootling around don't they! They've been chucking all the bark about that's under the  hedge too. I'll get to that today if I don't walk - forecast's full of fog so it's made me  a bit  image

Yvie - surveyors do give a false sense of security. They only look at roofs or 'out of the way ' bits from a distance. Hopeless really. It can pay to have a more in depth survey done but it does make everything more expensive. I think things have improved up here a fair bit since the Home Report came in, but it's still not a perfect system. I can personally vouch for that image

    He's got a pressy Fairy.

I asked last night if we had any wrapping paper:

    " just christmas paper"

" do you want your pressy in Christmas paper, or shan't I bother?"

    It's unwrapped.

And they say romance is dead??? pah

flumpy, it's a bit of a pain, and doesn't always work, but they're upgrading next week so might be easier then.

Go to the message,, bottom right corner, click on quote, then click on unquote, then go to your message writing box and click the inverted commas and the message should appear.

You can crop out the bits you don't want, eg, if it's a long posting and you only want to quote part of it.

In theory, if you then hit the return bar, you can add something underneath, but sometimes it appears in the same quoted box
