Morning wakey wakey, rise and shine. (Don't really feel that energetic, but thought if I put some oomph into my typing then the rest of me might follow).
Exciting news Edd! As for sea sickness; adrenaline and getting acclimatised will help. I'm afraid I've always had a fine pair of sea legs, it's land that causes me all the trouble.
Other half is full of sniffles and wanted puppy to sleep on the bed with him last night. I couldn't tell if that meant he wanted me to sleep downstairs but "puppy" is definitely getting big now. Talk about a squeeze to get everyone in.
Back to work today full of enthusiasm and thermals. Have fun everyone!
Charlie & and I have been away for the week end skiing again, probably last time this season, sounds silly but there was actually at bit too much snow this time. We enjoyed our time together though.
Very cold and frosty start here today but nice & sunny. Going to whizz through H*******K and then maybe find some time to get the garden into a better state.
Have a good day all, will try and read back and see what I missed.

Good morning Chicky, Clari ... everyone else as you come along and of course, G'day Pat
There's a sharp frost out there at the moment, but the sun is shining and the birds are singing.
Good to hear from Edd ... changes afoot and exciting times. A bit of a coincidence as I've just been reading about the local Coast Watch set up in Norfolk - what a lot of good work by volunteers http://coastwatchhappisburgh.co.uk/ That is the lighthouse that you can see from The Old Vicarage Gardens at East Ruston.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Edd, onwards and upwards. I'm loving your positive attitude. Long may it continue. I wish you well.
Good news guys: I've now lost 20, yes twenty pounds, that's lbs, not £s.
Sleep last night consisted of lots of fairly nasty , intense , very " real " dreams, many of which had me wake " with a start" in a deep sweat. Hey ho, at least I got some sleep.

Morning all - where's Pat - is she ok?
Our nice alpine spell is over - back to rain and wind. Oh well....
Hope all goes well in your new ventures Edd. What's that saying about one door closing...
Glad you had a good time with Charlie DD
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks Verdun, not really noticing feeling fitter, but I think that's due to the lack of sleep. But the scales aint fibbin'
