My OH takes paper tissues / kitchen roll (usually to use for wiping something on his bike rather than his nose....) - and then he tucks them deep down in his trouser pockets. So deep that they get forgotten and end up in the washing machine - where they disintegrate into tiny bits of felt which attach to all the rest of the (usually dark) wash - ggrrrr
Wouldn't be without him though - sometimes he's fettling things on my bike and he made a lovely curry tonight even though he's poorly
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
BL... ...husbands! (Though I know mine is irritated by some of my habits too... can't think why...)
Yes, a damp, raw day here too, though Verdun's nameless storm hasn't come north, I'm happy to say. We spent our exciting day at Bury market, where I was able to buy a replacement for my excellent "dry touch" Gold Leaf gardening gloves, which are endorsed by the RHS. They were warm and waterproof, vital for me because I have Reynaud's syndrome so need to stop my hands getting cold. However, I'd worn them out through constant use over the past 5 years or so, and my running repairs were no longer working, so I was delighted to find "seconds" of the same gloves on sale today at a third of the "perfect" price.
Off to see Mum and my sister tomorrow.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
We just had a little shower and the temperature has dropped right away. Great!
Hubby has just taken the car up the back to have a look around. For some reason a group of kangaroos came leaping wildly down past the house and kept looking behind them in a worried way. Maybe a fox! Hopefully not someone who shouldn't be on our property.

It has rained most of the day, Pat, sometimes quite heavily, here in SW France.
Talking of men and hankies, why does my OH never push his paper hankies properly into his pockets so that they fall out when he walks?

Hazel. Go back to page 8. That's where Lyn told us how to do it.
Wakes, wakes, everyone. It's morning time.
Good morning all
G'day Pat
