Hosta, as Dove had to put up with me as a teenager I will forgive her! I was an adorable child but like most teens think I was a bit horrendous!
Flumpy that's a good question, I know physically it looks like my mother gave birth to my brother and my father gave birth to me. I like to think that Doves traits have come through in me as I've "matured" but having left home at 16 there's a lot of stuff that I figured out myself, generally through making mistakes! Wasn't so naughty that I was kicked out at that age I might add, just bored and wanted to explore life
Dove is right, as always gardening has helped calm me and brought us closer together, although my patience still needs some improving!
Humph! I wish my daughter would discover the Zen of gardening. She' having late teenage grumps. Not attractive at 21.
As a toddler and small child she liked nothing better than pottering with a watering can and helping mum and eating all the strawberries and blueberries fresh from the plant but now she barely even goes out there except, rarely, when pushed to play with the dogs.

I remember being a bit of a pain as a teenager but I think a lot of it is because you want independence and to explore life if you can afford it
but I turned out fine to, my dad can't believe I've turned out green fingered, but it's because he won't let anyone loose in his garden
i find gardening is very therapeutic too
No walking today Wonks - horrible here and high winds and snow on the hills. Hopefully get out tomorrow but it may still be a bit rubbish.
