Afternoon all, weather still awful here, just got back from lunch at Ashwoods, weather was too vile to have a wonder round the plants so I expect I've saved a few pennies.

Have just found out what happened to hubby's colleague, apparently he was scuba diving in Egypt and didn't make it back to the boat.

    Afternoon

Just popped in to send condolences to Lily and Yvie - sudden departures come as such a shock especially when the person is younger - best wishes to you both.

Gloomy, wet and cold here - have been trying to sort out some techie stuff today. OH is full of cold so I'm keeping him at arm's length for a few days. Why are men allergic to using hankies or tissues to stifle coughs and sneezes? Time to go and sniff some more First Defence...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    Thank you Topbird and Verdun.

Yvie, we have just heard more too.

My friend died on the first tee of the golf course. But we first thought it was the one here that they (and my OH) belong to. But it was in Tenerife while on holiday.   I feel so sad for her family. It was Mothers day too.

    Such sad times Yvie x
