Morning all and Gday Pat, hope your all well, I've had a restless night : ( too.

A week ago I saw my dodgy neighbour handing keys to what sound like polish people, now there where no for sale or rent sign on the front of the house, but last night another couple and a baby came and they've been up all night talking at the top of there voices, has anyone else had problems like this?

Morning all/afties Pat. Glad you had your roast in the end!

Think Dove's daughter Wonks has had plenty of experience flumpy. She had a 'situation' with tenants living above her, although I think it's been resolved now.

I've got Hosta's lack of sleep today - been awake since before five but watched the last two episodes of the cold war/spy thrillerThe Game which I recorded last year and hadn't watched. Excellent image

Hope Hosta got back to sleep....image

Good morning all. On phone so smilies limited image

I would've slept well had the loo in the en suite not developed mind of its own and made a noise for five mins or so every hour. How come I was the only person it woke?

Now I'm up drinking coffee and listening to the jackdaws in the inglenook chimney.

Morning Dove/fairy, sounds like we've all had restless nights : /, sounds like you've got air trapped in the pipe somewhere, is your hubby a deep sleeper Dove?

Morning all. Grey day. Have given daughter her birthday presents. Going to a restaurant in Poitiers for lunch but smallest grandson (5) doesn't feel very well. Daughter says he'll be OK when he's had some paracetamol. I hope so.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Dug a huge hole for a clematis last week, filled with water , thankfully pre planting....absolutely no drainage! Clem relocated in pieris spot, massive back breaking job to move the pier is to the other side of the garden. Will plant annual black eyed Susan or morning glory where clem was going ( I was very clever in original post using proper names by the way!).
