Have you reported the theft to the police? Before doing so I would suggest you consider how you obtained them in the first place. Anything taken without permission from the owner is a crime.
Hi GG, I am amazed your council allowed a plot holder to have a shipping container on his plot, we are only allowed small sheds, a polytunnel or greenhouse.
Wen to my plot yesterday Moved and replanted strawberries in a new bed and dug over the potato bed ready for planting, soil still very heavy so I ache today!!
On my way there, I noticed someone selling home made bird feeding tables for £10 in solid wood, painted, so I bought one. It looks really nice and the old gentleman that makes them, as something to do in his retirement, was dead chuffed that I stopped to get one!
Have a good holiday GWRS, hope your going somewhere hot!
Thats great Scroggin, I got my little green house via the free ads online for £50 delivered but had to put about £70 worth of new glass in, still think it was a bargain, even better if its a freebee!
iGrow not reported it to the police but did have permission from a carpet firm to take the pallets so ok on that front
Ginagibbs think that plot holder had the shipping container for a long while, there are a few plots with them in different colours and pretty bits on them - nice you got a bird table is that for garden or the allotment plot?
GWRS that is right drizzle here today was at the plot till 2pm getting a little bit wet
Done some more pruning of the blackberry bits just off the plot hope it will bush out for more fruit and to tidy it all up and to clear rubbish
Found a golf club end in the brambles handle must of broke off - just need to sort out making some sort of handle then I will be able to use it with all the golf balls found
Gg...I found an old clay pipe on the plot a few weeks ago, there were golf balls on the other site...
GWRS... hope the weather picks up for you, a cruise sounds nice...enjoy... ...
Started to put up the shed yesterday, just had the felt to put on the roof, and more brackets, to fix it to the ground but it's rained today and looks like more rain over the next few days. Let's to hope we don't get strong winds or it could be blown into the next plot ...
Everyone sounds really busy. Not planted out any veg this yr yet. Pea's sown on kitchen roll, spinach and sweet pea are doing well though, I've potted them up and the peas all have their first true leaves. Not so sure about the broad beans, they haven't yet to put on a show but I've more seeds, so will sow some more at beginning of April.
I've alot of freebie flower seeds from magazines, far to many to sow indoors so will wait till next month aand sow them in the GH with a sheet of glass over the tray.
Haven't planted my asparagus roots yet, can't decide on the spot for them. Does anyone know if the roots are invasive and would they grow in dappled shade. I've a choice of three places, all slightly different.
