Still fighting the battle to try to reduce plant numbers before more deliveries arrive and fill the garage (well patio table now)..

Planted out heuchera paprika x3, heuchera glitter x3, verbena bonariensis lollipop x3 and viburnum tinus Lisa rose.

Dug a hole for the water feature - have to dig the channel for the power supply next.

Away for the weekend so not going to get much more done.... Need to plant out loads of astrantias at some point!

Found my 'missing' hosta this eve on my post-work walk around?

Found it in the front garden, don't remember moving it there though?

I've done loads of gardening in the last few days, am stiff and achey. All beds now weeded, done some planting, done supports for the broad beans and netting for the mange tout peas. Also been watering, it's been so warm.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Redug out path to greenhouse thing ready for more bark

    Hardened off sweet peas

    Pinched out cosmos

Planted pots of snapdragons and phlox

Shopping and HW today, but will soon go out to the garage and set up the plant stall. OH has helped me put the trestle tables out.

Is it your open day soon Busy-Lizzie? If so best of luck? Your garden always looks immaculate and I would love a nosy around if I lived nearby.

Yes, Keen?, plants eh, always up to something...

Haven't done a vast deal today, had to do some non-gardening and felt a bit tired to arrange and plant things - it's too much fun to waste on weary chore-dom.

Did pot on some cosmos, that's no fun so that was fine, also put up some trellis, ditto.

The birds are looking ragged at the mo, eating loads and I'm out of mealyworms? Felt sorry for them so went out and bought some grated cheese. Too lazy to grate my own and not wasting my nice cheese on the starlings?
