Just had an hour in garden after work - a general potter/deadhead/water/fiddle etc.

Do like a fushia GWRS - they are really colourful and ornate but I already have one in that area.  I'll have a look in garden centre on Wed - thinking of something orange as will be nestled next to a conifer which is lime/orangey and a lovely Geum 'totally tangerine'...

Still on antibiotics for my insect bite infection. Came back from the shops yesterday to find a big chunk of my lovely hydrangea had split with all that rain and had fallen into the pond. I bet the fish got a shock. I took all the flower heads off and distributed the tied bunches to my neighbours. This morning, I kitted myself out in protective clothing and tidied up some geums. I put out the washing in the lovely sunshine and now its raining from the heavens!

Went to Helligan in Cornwall last week, plants followed me home (Im the green fingered Pied Piper!) Hampton Court on Sunday, planted most of them, cut the grass, planted my wildflower plugs, tiny shower of rain not enough to do any good.

Hello Nanny Beach , how was Hampton Court ? Never been but would like to , it looks enormous on TV , wondered if you would need a couple of days to wonder round ?

Also never been to Heligan but remember the programme on TV , many years ago

Just having a coffee break , good day in garden doing lots of little jobs

A glorious evening here... just taking some snaps. Here's a collection of the best petals in the garden - Mother Nature really knows her stuff!
