Took delivery of replacement echinaceas and now finally have all of my plants....until the next lot..

Placed out all the heleniums, kniphofias and echinaceas where I'll be planting them - look good!!!

Salvia caradonna waiting patiently in the background until those above have been planted and they can fill all the gaps.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a busy day image

Which heleniums did you get Andy. I looked at the site you mentioned and was spoiled for choice.

I'm having a less taxing day. Yesterday's elephant nearly killed me and my neck will hardly move. I think I need to take smaller bites GWRS image

Pp, I got 3 each of:

Kupferzwerg, Waltraut, Sahin's Early Flowerer, Dunkle Pracht, Vicky

I wanted a bit of a mix of heights, colour and flowering times.

Kniphofias were toffee nosed and rooperi.

Twins have just fallen asleep so now time to get planting!

I'll look them up later Andy but my less taxing day has taken a bit of a hit. Don't you just love it when you come back from the lawnmower man and the muck fairy has been!!! image

Was in a snipping mood early this AM so did a bit of deadheading and clearing around some new plants in weedy zones to give them a chance. Found my white Thalictrum under the campion - looks a bit spindlyimage

Looked around for some alliums I bought but don't recall where I planted them...didn't find them. Also bodged a contraption to point my climbing hydrangea back at the wall as it fell off somehowimage

Got nothing else to do so am going out...Unless anyone else needs a hand in the garden?image

Ooops! Must have just missed you pp.image

Well fortunately there is a pipe or cover for electrical cables about a foot or so away from the limb that had broken free and was flailing about. I fastened a stick behind the pipe with wire and then to the stem. The lever action takes it away from the wall but I think the plant will reach for it and grab back on and then I can snip the stick off.

Not clear on how it happened, several stems had come away and one was snapped. I'll try and make a new one from the broken stick.

Have finished off planting pots.   Cut back winter honeysuckle and camelias now they have finished flowering.

    Lawns cut and edged.

Pulled up an excess of forget me not and generally tidied round.
