Not done any gardening today but tomorrow lots of things to do. But been to GC today spent a lot more than I expected image I was only popping in for an hour or so I was there all day. Bought some nice yorkshire terracoota pots image for agapanthus and crinium , more Nerines and a new trowel my others keep wondering off somewhere.

  • I've got a strawberry tree Runnybeak, still small, about 4'...I wouldn't be able to advise on suitability as I tend to just get what I like, I think they are not fully hardy but mine has been fine so far.

I've seen pictures on the Internet of them pruned in an umbrella shape (not sure on technical termimage) and thought I might do that with mine when it grows up.

    Wearside, England.
  • My husband dug out some more clay in preparation for some decking to be laid and I tidied up the front garden, we have just come in. Nice and sunny but a bit chilly image. My

    narcissi are coming up nicely.

  • Mine's in the ground RB...it's just the bog standard form arbutus unedo not a named variety but I did a search online and it seems there are smaller versions.

    Hope someone else can adviseimage

Winter, No option, its Unreal, I Can't But remove the stones, otherwise nothing would grow.

Today has been the first day of full sun here AND its all solid yet again and that's after near 2 years of dig dig dig, manure, fertilizer.

I'm sure I will get there.

Finished grass cutting , even the bits which have not been mown in almost 4 years. Sheep don't do the best job at leaving an even finish so I've been cutting down the tussocky bits too. Thought I'd do it before it heads for the garage for a clean, service and sharpen.

Everyone is so busy it makes my head spin.

I put some evergreens in for stress relief after a horrible day at work image Well that's my excuse anyway.
